From newsletters and video scripts to web content, I’ve written for a variety of industries and helped a lot of businesses tell their stories.
Some folks look for industry specialists, but that’s largely marketing bologna. You should know two things:
- A good writer can adapt.
- The fundamentals of copywriting don’t change as much as you’d think by topic.
To give you an idea of the breadth of industries I’ve successfully written for, here’s a partial list:
- Semi truck companies
- Cleaning companies
- Commercial electricians
- Printing companies
- Massage therapists
- Tax firms
Writing is how I got my start in business. It’s been a lifelong hobby of mine and it’s what I studied in college. When I broke into the marketing field it was as a copywriter first, running the blogs for the company I worked at and drafting internal sales copy.
Eventually I learned SEO and built upon the web design skills I’d begun as a teenager. Through this I developed what I believe is a strong skill set for helping businesses succeed online.
Often websites either nail the communication but are plain looking, or nail the technical end but have bland content. By constantly developing both disciplines I can bring a big picture approach to each project I work on.
If you’re looking for some help with your next project, I’d love to talk to you about it.
